Not a bad turn out for this gig from recollection. Was absolutely rammed. Quite a few people and some unexpected ones too. Everyone except Felix who simply didn’t turn up. It’s a real shame as it was this gig that we played Complex live (I think we just had the solo played on the backing track, lol)
Mother Files showed up for this. In an unrelated incident Mikee and Jack promoted a gig here with flyers and immediately got a call from the council about it. Turns out Kingston council were really against fly posting. That was an eye opening experience of how the gig and promotion circuit was becoming digital (and was already difficult to navigate) - word of mouth still works and local bands sticking together helps. Nobody wants to perform to empty rooms.
