Full bio

Felix’s musical origins started back in the sweat-soaked, feedback-drenched chaos of the early 2000s. He fronted British Beef, a hook-heavy, noise-loving pop-punk and alt-rock vehicle that somehow maneuvered its way into a whirlwind brush with major labels, packed venues, and even getting Without Me onto the soundtrack for PS2 game FIFA Street 2 . Once the amps finally stopped smoking and the dust settled, he doubled down on the noise with Crayfish. He dived headfirst into jagged textures, heavy riffs, and a firm refusal to polish anything to a shine.

Joining up with Michael Television’s Interloper brought things full circle. As Mikee’s long-term housemate, with the pair spending a good few years sharing a house together, Felix was right in the central blast radius when the band first formed. He helped assemble early track ideas from raw noise, basslines, and whatever gear was lying around the living room. Bringing his crunchy lead guitar work, melodic instincts, and a healthy dose of chaos to the mix, working alongside Mikee and Misc feels less like a strict studio project and more like a playground for the band’s signature 'anything goes' attitude. They tried every weird idea at least once and never took themselves too seriously. This relaxed approach to rock stardom reached its absolute peak when Felix showed up spectacularly late to an early Interloper gig. He had been detained by the police for allegedly shoplifting a can of hairspray, leaving the rest of the band setting up the gear and wondering if they were going to have to play as a two-piece or post bail.

Tired of clutching a guitar, dealing with minor law enforcement mix-ups, and making noise in the house, Felix casually pivoted into the film and television industry, swapping sticky venue floors for multi-million pound production sets. Armed with the same relentless DIY work ethic, he carved out a proper career working in grip and camera departments on massive international titles, including the likes of Game of Thrones, Stratton, and Another Mother’s Son. Whether he’s hauling heavy rig gear on a medieval fantasy set, dodging hairspray-related arrests, or layering down guitars for an Interloper demo, the general philosophy remains pretty much the same: work hard, make it look or sound cool, and try not to break anything important.
